A Note About Shipping
Our clothing products are shipped via US Postal Service, using their Parcel Post service. Our books and videos are shipped via US Postal Service, using their Media Mail service. Tap A Taillights are usually sent via US Postal Service via Priority Mail. Windshields and chrome rails will be sent via UPS Ground/Home Delivery services. (We assume all shipments are to residential addresses unless you specify otherwise.) Orders containing a mixture of product types will be sent via the most convenient method - generally these are larger shipments, so UPS would most likely be used.
All shipments for orders above $15 - $20 are insured.
Using these services, delivery time to most parts of the United States is about a week but can be longer or shorter. (In particular, books may take longer.)
Our shopping cart system will charge you the rate we charge to ship within the "lower 48" states of the US. We can ship almost all of our products worldwide, but extra shipping charges may be required. We will contact you before shipping if that is the case.
We attempt to make one run to UPS and the post office per week (typically Monday mornings). If you need your products by a certain date, please be sure to let us know and we will try to accommodate you.
We have found this to be the most economical shipping method. However, if you would like other shipping arrangements, please use our Feedback Form to contact us or call us at 651.699.6477 for pricing.
Finally, please be aware that our shopping cart mechanism isn't smart enough to realize that we can put multiple items in the same box to save on shipping costs. Therefore, if you order multiple items the system will almost always overcharge you for shipping. We try to watch for this and will manually re-calculate a reasonable shipping charge once we have all of your items boxed up. We will refund the difference at that time. If you feel you've been overcharged for shipping, please let us know and we'll certainly look into it.
